Many American footballers are famous for the brilliance and spectacle they bring to the game, but for someone like Adrian Peterson, he is far more famous than what he does on the football field.

The soccer player is reported to have a record number of children, one of the highest numbers with which an athlete in recent history is associated. Here you can learn all about the juicy details of his family life, including his involvement in a child abuse case and the admission of having actually injured one of his children.

Adrian Peterson’s Wife, Son

The footballer is said to have between six and eight children by different women. In fact, he only learned of the existence of one of his sons a few weeks before the boy was allegedly killed by another man – his mother’s friend; Peterson’s former acquaintance

Nevertheless, he has been married to Ashley Brown since July 2014. The two have been together since 2010 and now have two sons. The footballer allegedly also has a daughter with a certain waitress who works in Minnesota. Words came out about this said daughter after the waitress heard about the murder of his son and decided to talk about having a child for the NFL star. When asked to name the exact number of children he had, Adrian declined, saying rather that he knew the truth and was comfortable with it.

Although no details have been released about all of his children, a lot has been revealed about them for those we know of, albeit for the wrong reasons.

Tyrese Ruffin: In 2013, Tyrese was Adrian’s 2-year-old son who lived with his mother, Patterson, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In October of the same year, his mother’s boyfriend, Joseph Robert Patterson, claimed he dialed 911 when he saw the boy choking on a fruit snack. The boy died two days later in the hospital. According to the investigations conducted by the authorities, it turned out that Joseph had probably hit the boy when they were both alone because the results of the autopsy showed that Ruffin received 4 blows to the head, which caused a head injury and then his early death. A second-degree murder case such as this leads to a maximum sentence of life imprisonment if finally convicted.

His other son: a year later, after he lost Tyres, Adriana was in the news for an indictment on a frivolous or negligent injury charge from a sentence he had imposed on his then 4-year-old child. The soccer player did not deny beating his son when he admitted that he did it with a branch when the child knocked one of his brothers off a motorcycle video game. However, in a police report, the child revealed that his father did more than punch him in the face and with belts when he put leaves in his mouth. The investigation revealed that the boy had injuries to his back, buttocks, genitals, ankles, and legs, all of which were consistent with cases of child abuse.

Body Measurements: Height, Weight

American football is a sport in which a player’s height and body weight play a crucial role in determining how well such a player performs on the field. For this reason, having players with the right body measurements for a given position is of paramount importance to any team and is a major concern for players.

Adrian Peterson is not the tallest player in the NFL or in his team, standing at this height at 6’3″ or 6’4″, nor is he the lightest or heaviest player at 220 lbs or 100 kg. Nevertheless, with his height and weight, he has proven time and again that he is suitable to fulfill the tasks of a running back in American football. Considering his age, there is no doubt that he trains well enough to maintain his athletic build.
