Christopher Chace Crawford was born on July 18, 1985, in Lubbock, Texas. He has mainly English roots with distant degrees of Scottish, Northern Irish, and German descent. He received his high school education at the Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, Texas. As a teenager, Crawford worked as a model for a number of major retail clothing brands. After graduating in 2003, he enrolled in radio journalism and marketing studies at Pepperdine University. However, he did not complete his studies, as he dropped out to go into acting full-time.
