Jey Uso is a professional American wrestler of Samoan descent who wrestles as a half-day team with his brother Jimmy Uso. The Uso’s are twin sons of the former WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi, who personally trained his boys to come after him when he left the ring. In fact, the boys have lived up to expectations as they have preserved and strictly guarded the honor of the family name in the fighting ring.
This article is dedicated to the life of one of the brothers – Jey Uso; his biography, married life, body statistics, and just about everything that made him as tough as he is today, so read on.
Jey Uso Bio, Age
Jey was born on August 22, 1985, in San Francisco, California, under the sun sign of Leo with his twin brother Jimmy. The twins were born by former WWE champion Solofa Fatu, better known as Rikishi, and his wife Talisua Fuavai-Fatu. His full name is Joshua Samuel Fatu and he has siblings: Jeremiah Peniata Fatu (older brother) and the younger Joseph Fatu, Samson Fatu, Thamiko Fatu, Thavana Monalisa Fatu.
The Uso’s come from the legendary Anoai family, known as masters in wrestling. Jey Uso and his twin brother were trained by their father, who in his heyday of wrestling was known as a threat and not an easy opponent for anyone who faced him in the ring. Rikishi did well to teach his boys all that he had accumulated during his years as a professional wrestler, and it is no wonder that Jey and Jimmy always know how to beat any opponent they encounter.

Jey and his older twin brother had a love of wrestling from an early age as they often watched their father’s games. More than that, their father started training them in wrestling in his spare time, and soon the Uso brothers thought it would be best to pursue a career as professional wrestlers.
At the 2009 Florida Wrestling Championships, Jey Uso made his first appearance in wrestling with his brother, and in January 2010, when they scored their first win in their career against the Rotundo Brothers, the two began wrestling together. With Sarona Snuka as a manager, Jey and Jimmy became FCW Florida Tag Team Champions after defeating The Fortunate Sons. This victory went down in history as one of many that will follow in their career.
As the Uso brothers battled their way to the top, they recorded several victories, some of which led to their promotion to Tag Team of the Year (2014) in Pro Wrestling Illustrated, two-time WWE Tag Team Champion 2014, three-time WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion and the Slammy Award for Tag Team of the Year (2014, 2015).
Family: Married, Wife, Kids
Since Jey Uso is a handsome young man and a successful wrestler, he may have had some relationships in the past before he finally got married. However, nothing is known about his premarital dating life, as he has only been associated with his current wife for ages.
The Samoan wrestler is married to Takecia Travis, with whom he shares two sons. The two have been married since 2015. The marriage between the two was relatively unknown until Naomi, one of Jey’s sisters-in-law, published a picture of the wrestler’s family on social media. Since then, more pictures have followed showing the wrestler, his wife, and her sons, which proves that the wrestler is actually married and has children. However, the names of the children have not been revealed, but if they become known, we will certainly inform you.
Wrestling is a sport where height is of crucial importance, although not absolute. However, should a wrestler strive to beat the big boys in this sport, such a person will do well to stand at a good height so that it does not look like a fight between an older brother and his younger brother.
In this respect, Jey Uso stands at an impressive height of 1.85 m. He is only one centimeter smaller than his twin brother, who is 1.88 m tall. In the weight class, Jey is also lighter at 228 lbs. or 103 kg, while his identical twin brother is much heavier at 251 lbs. or 114 kg.
